Over the past 15 weeks we have been keeping ourselves busy in the off season with a photo competition of the best F18 shots our Facebook followers have to offer.
Today we crowned Clay & Alyx Selsmeyer of the Catamaran Racing Association of Wisconsin as our champions. Starting in mid-November we cycled through 7 rounds; one each for the 7 active F18 manufacturer. Each round consisted of a week for our followers to submit their best photos and a week for the photos to be voted on. At the end of 2 weeks we declared winners for each model offered by that particular manufacture. By the beginning of February we had 12 winning photos from sailors around the world and once again our followers choose their favorite.
Along the way we had some great help from our sponsors. Goodall Designs sent a set of T-shirts to Dalton Tebo & John Casey for winning their round. Clay & Alyx walk away with jackets from NACRA Tech for winning their manufacture round, as well as Rooster Sailing Gear buoyancy aids for winning our championship round.
