USF18 will hold its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, Nov 12 at 8:00 pm Eastern Time via Zoom. All members and friends of the class are invited to attend.
Key agenda items:
1) Discussion of changes to the Class By-Laws to change the title of Secretary to Communications Director and other changes to reflect how the class is currently operating
2) Change the Youth (U26) membership fee
3) Discuss Americas 2027 Championship at Houston Yacht Club from April 3-9, 2027 (NOR will be published shortly)
4) Finalize nominations for class officers for 2027
5) Discuss other future events
6) Discuss USF18 Grant program for 2027
7) Review proposed class rule changes from IF18CA
Votes will be taken after the class meeting from Nov to early December.
See the attached proposed changes (in red) to the Class By-Laws that will be discussed at the AGM. This notice provides the required 30-day notice to the class prior to making any changes to the By-Laws.
