The Carolina region has a strong history of multihull sailing. Multihull racing at all levels is looking to grow again in the Carolinas and surrounding area. Regardless of what class please reach out to our fleet representative to help grow beachcat racing in the region.
Waccamaw Sailing Club is the current focal point for F18 sailing and is located in Southeast North Carolina. The club is active with sailors of all types and has on-site boat storage, RV parking, and camping available. Along with monthly club races, WSC also hosts two annual events, one in the spring and one in the fall of each year. Formula 18s make up a good portion of the regular multihull fleet. Visitors are welcome at the monthly and annual events. Boats are stored mere yards away from the clubs sand beach launching area.
