With the longest freshwater coast in the world, Michigan is a hotbed of sail-racing with the F18 being the pinnacle class of beachcat racing across the state. The backbone of F18 racing in Michigan is the Catamaran Racing Association of Michigan, but there are many other events that welcome beachcats of all types to compete.
